Qyn (cont.)
Most of my life that I have ever known has been through the
Department of Justice and the Department of corrections. I never
knew people that I could trust and further more believe in the fact
that people could change. I was charged with my first felony at 6
yrs old. I went to the first prison facility at the age of 14 in Dothan,
Alabama. Most of my troubling childhood began when my mom was
shot and killed in front of me. I started feeling like there was no one
I could trust and further more I was being manipulated by street
gangs and sexually assaulted by people I thought I could trust and
lived around. I eventually thought that this was the normal life that
I was supposed to live.

I started asking about God and what Jesus the son of God did when
I was 17 and  incarcerated in boot camp in Chalkville, Alabama and
once I found out who they were I thought on it, but I did not take
religion serious. My life was still left in pain, torturing and
unlimited malice. I had no education, skill sets, or ambitions.
I was bound for more prison time, self destruction, and worse case
scenario (death).

I have had a history of violence in my life and violence has had some
interesting parts of helping me realize that it only takes a “Hi” and a
smile. Some of the cases are far worse in my life than others have
been like carrying around the title of sex offender. That hurts the
character of who I truly represent. I could elaborate about my case,
but I’m real sure that it’s already out there for the world to know.

Now 19 years later with a positive life, I am continuing my journey
searching for the unconditional love of Christ and the power and
nature of what God has instilled in every man and woman and child.
I am a proud father of 6 children whom I love and they all love each
other even though some of them are so far apart and I am embarking
upon an educational quest that is still in play. The skill sets and
educational background that I have acquired since then are: General
Equivalency Diploma (GED); Ball State University (Associates in Arts Degree); minors in computer science
and applications and Information Systems office management;  United States Department  of Labor
Apprenticeship in Office Management/Administrative Services; National Library of Congress certified and
professional Braille Transcriber with proofreading services; and Certified Tactile Graphic and Design Technician;
I am currently working on my second degree in Business Information and Technology and also another
certification in Braille which will be Nemeth (math) Transcribing and I look to obtain my masters in the
electrical and computer applications field one day.

Man4Man Ministries has been the foundation of what life and the respect of mankind is about. Everyday I
come to Man4Man Ministries I feel a sense of being alive and also a great thanks to GOD for providing me
with His son that showed me love, respected all, and sacrificed for the world all greater good and betterment
of mankind. Without the understanding, respect, love and eye for realness in a person’s character of Bob
Blume, my situation for returning back to the penitentiary would be a quick one.

So with the Lord's blessings and the continuing pursuit of wisdom, positive living, and everything I am
blessed by God to have, like the partnership and love from Mr. Bob Blume as a supporter and vessel of
love from God. I know that the path set for me and the company I am help bringing to this organization
and community lets me know that God does have a  plan for me. Bob and Man4Man has opened an
opportunity for me here to use my apprenticeship and education in braille to form “Braille4U” braille
transcription business that we now operate as one of the best endeavors that he has set for me to excel
and elevate in and as long as I am worshiping him and trusting in his power and the unconditional love that
Christ Jesus brought to this world and faithful belief, I know that there is no limit to the things I can obtain.

I know that it will be a very long road trying to get back to the respect, moral and re-entry of what society
expects of me, but with the support of the staff at Man4Man Ministries and the “Band of Brothers” I have
here, who knows where I would be, but I do know I am here!
